The grapes used to make this mature Malvasia are harvested later, in the second half of September. The fermentation, along with the subsequent aging of wine on its own yeasts, takes place over several months in wooden barrique barrels.
The wine is distinguished by a bright yellow tone and an intense, pleasant aroma of vanilla and the typical Malvasia note of acacia flowers. It is a dry, warm and mellow, full-bodied wine with a pronounced minerality.

This variety is very untypical for warmer regions, as it requires a greater temperature difference between days and nights than it is the case in Istria. Yet the first contact with this wine shows that the taste is somewhat different from the other North Sauvignons that have a typical scent of cut grass and tomato leaves. The grass and asparagus aromas are disguised here and entangled with fruity aromas of peaches and pineapples, citrus and pleasant floral notes. The taste is delightfully fresh, rich and extractive.
It goes well with the asparagus-based dishes, seafood.
