Sauvignon is famous and very common grape variety in the north vineyard regions. Therefore tasting the Pilato Family White Sauvignon of this warmer microclimate is more of a challenge. Yet the first contact with this wine shows that the taste is somewhat different from the other North Sauvignons typical for its scent of cut grass and tomato leaves.
However, the aroma here is covered and entangled with fruit aromas of peach and pineapple, citruses and pleasant flower notes. The taste is delightfully fresh, full and extractive with balanced proportion of extracts, acid and alcohol, as well as other ingredients that leave exceptionally pleasant sensation in the mouth.
